This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you visit https://modifiedmilsim.com (the “Website”), place an order, or contact us, and how we use, share and protect it. It applies to information collected on the Website, through checkout, and in email, text and other messages between you and us. By using the Website you agree to this policy.

Children

The Website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. Information you provide:

•           Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email address and phone number.

•           Account information, if you create an account.

•           Your email address or phone number if you subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for back-in-stock alerts, or opt in to marketing at checkout.

•           Information you send us through our contact, dealer application or request-an-item forms, and copies of our correspondence.

•           Information needed to process a return or warranty request.

We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and its payment partners, which collect your payment information directly.

How We Use Your Information

•           To process, fulfill and ship your orders, including sending order confirmations and shipping notifications.

•           To verify eligibility for age-restricted products and to apply shipping restrictions required by law.

•           To provide customer service and process returns and refunds.

•           To send marketing emails, texts or back-in-stock alerts if you opted in (you can opt out at any time).

•           To detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of the Website.

•           To improve the Website, our products and our service.

•           To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

•           Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout and payments.

•           Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS and FedEx), to deliver your order.

•           Fulfillment and distribution partners. For Real Steel products that ship directly from our U.S. distribution partner, we share your name, shipping address and the items ordered with that partner so it can ship your order.

•           Email and marketing service providers, if you have opted in to marketing or alerts.

•           Legal and safety: to comply with a court order, law or legal process, to respond to lawful government requests, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our customers or others.

•           Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of some or all of our business, subject to this policy.

All service providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, tax, accounting and reporting requirements and to resolve disputes. Order records are generally kept for at least seven (7) years for tax and accounting purposes.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and payments are processed on Shopify’s encrypted, PCI-compliant infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, reply STOP to marketing texts, or contact us at modifiedmilsim@gmail.com.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
